Terms & Conditions – LankaTourify Tour Bookings

These Terms & Conditions apply to all tour bookings made with LankaTourify via our website, Google Forms, WhatsApp, email, or any official communication channel.
By submitting a booking form and proceeding with confirmation, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings must be submitted through official LankaTourify Google Forms or approved communication channels.
  • Submitting a booking form does not automatically confirm a booking.
  • Booking confirmation depends on tour type, availability, and payment terms described below.
  • LankaTourify reserves the right to reject bookings with incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information.

2. Payment & Confirmation Policy

2.1 Day Tours & Fixed-Price Tours
  • For standard day tours and fixed-price packages, a 50% advance payment of the total tour price is required to confirm the booking.
  • A booking is considered tentative until the advance payment is received and verified.
  • Booking confirmation is issued only after:
    • Completed booking form submission
    • 50% advance payment
    • Valid payment slip upload
2.2 Multi-Day Tours & Customized Packages
  • For Multi-Day Tours and customized tour packages, no advance payment is required at the time of Google Form submission.
  • Multi-day tour bookings are reviewed and customized based on traveler requirements, dates, accommodation preferences, and availability.
  • Final pricing, itinerary, and payment requirements will be confirmed via WhatsApp, email, or direct communication.
  • An advance payment (if applicable) will be requested only after the traveler agrees to the final itinerary and price.
  • Submitting a multi-day tour form indicates a request for quotation, not a confirmed booking.

After completing the requested payment, the payment slip must be uploaded via the booking form or shared as instructed.
Please do not email payment slips unless specifically requested.

Any international bank or transfer charges must be paid by the traveler.

4. Balance Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid on the tour start date or as instructed by LankaTourify.
  • LankaTourify reserves the right to withhold services if payments are not settled on time.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation by Traveler
  • All cancellations must be communicated in writing.
  • Any confirmed advance payment is non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Tours may be canceled due to weather conditions, safety concerns, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, travelers may be offered a reschedule or a partial/full refund depending on incurred costs.

6. Itinerary Changes

  • Minor itinerary changes may occur due to weather, traffic, or site closures.
  • Optional activities, entrance tickets, and add-ons are not included unless clearly stated.

7. Inclusions & Exclusions

  • Meals & beverages
  • Accommodation (unless selected)
  • Personal expenses & tips

8. Accommodation (If Selected)

  • Accommodation is arranged only upon request and confirmation.
  • Availability depends on season and location.
  • Any damages to hotel property are the traveler’s responsibility.

9. Traveler Responsibilities

  • Carry valid passports, visas, and travel documents.
  • Respect local laws, customs, wildlife, and heritage sites.
  • LankaTourify is not responsible for lost belongings or injuries caused by negligence.

10. Health, Safety & Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. LankaTourify is not responsible for medical expenses, accidents, or emergencies.

11. Special Requests

Special requests (dietary needs, accessibility, celebrations, mobility needs) must be mentioned in the booking form.
Fulfillment is subject to availability and may involve additional charges.

12. Photography & Media

LankaTourify may use tour photographs or videos for promotional purposes.
Please inform us in advance if you do not wish to appear in promotional material.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

All personal information collected is used strictly for booking and tour management purposes and is never shared with third parties.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting the booking form and selecting the consent checkbox, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
